Dr. Ford is a board certified medical physicist in radiation oncology. Coming originally from a background of experimental x-ray astrophysics, Dr. Ford received his post-doctoral training in medical physics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and has recently joined the faculty of Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Ford provides clinical medical physics support to the department and is actively involved in research. His areas of interest include using advanced imaging technologies to guide radiation therapy delivery.

Dr. Ford is an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), and is
Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
