This trial closed to accrual on 02/01/2000 – We are only renewing this trial to comply with the annual long term follow-up requirement of the protocol (survival and disease status which are standard assessment and not protocol specific).
Five patients were accessioned by Johns Hopkins. Two patients have expired due to progressive disease. Two patients are alive with no evidence of disease. One patient moved out of the country, attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful, and are lost to follow-up. Both patients who are alive are finished with protocol treatment.
In conclusion, the combined modality treatment can be successfully delivered in a multi-institutional setting. Efficacy results are consistent with previous single institution results, but will require longer follow-up to draw definitive conclusions. |
