Our Services

The Johns Hopkins Radiosurgery Group
We are committed to providing the highest quality radiosurgery treatment for each patient by utilizing the unique expertise, state of the art technologies, and extensive resources available at Johns Hopkins.

The Johns Hopkins Radiosurgery Group includes neurosurgery specialists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and physicians in other specialties who are committed to the practice of radiosurgery. The Johns Hopkins Radiosurgery Group believes that this team approach, accessing the full extent of technology and special expertise available at Johns Hopkins for the benefit of individual patients, is essential for providing the highest quality radiosurgery treatment. We are committed to making this treatment easily available to those who live outside the Baltimore / Washington area by reviewing records and radiologic studies in advance of scheduling of an actual trip to Johns Hopkins, prescheduling treatments and procedures to minimize time spent in Baltimore, and by assisting with travel and accommodation. For information about scheduling an appointment or submitting records, please click here.

The physicians primarily responsible for the administration of radiosurgery are neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists. In most situations, the treatment is planned and supervised by a neurosurgeon and radiation oncologist working together. Dr. Daniele Rigamonti is a neurosurgeon with particular expertise in radiosurgery for benign and malignant tumors as well as vascular abnormalities. Dr. Lawrence Kleinberg and Dr. Ori Shokek are radiation oncologists who specialize in radiosurgery. Full list of team members.
